Substitute Teaching with BCS
Substitute teaching is a rewarding and fulfilling occupation. It provides individuals with flexibility with working assignments, provide classroom experience for those seeking to become a teacher, earn supplemental income and you are able to work closely with children!
Requirements
1. Must have at least 60 semester hours of satisfactory credit, which the state defines as earning a grade of a C or better.

2. Must complete online application.

3. You must obtain a substitute teacher permit. There are several different permits in the state of Michigan. We require you to possess a Full-Year Basic Substitute Permit.
​
4. Pass a background check. This includes fingerprints as well.
​
5. Provide us with a copy of your resume.
